Used 2000 Prevost Hoffman XLII for Sale by Owner in Hammond, Louisiana

Prevost is known to be safe and reliable. But all coaches will eventually need servicing. And this coach is perfect for those who want to be able to service most of the house section of the bus themselves. No need to bring the bus in for proprietary high end features and then pay a fortune to fix them. Built by Hoffman Coach, this bus had the bays built in a way that allows access to most of the home features that could go down during its use( plumbing electrical). With regular light switches and no touchscreens the interior feels like your home. The front and rear exterior caps of the bus have been updated. I have never seen another bus at this year with the updated rear end. The bus came with the X3 emblem on the new panel and it can be removed and replaced with the proper emblem. The bus was painted about three years ago and is waxed every other month. Tires are about three years old. On the mechanical side, Prevost Wintergarden replaced the main slide seal and removed the Detroit 12.7 engine for the overhead adjustment. $16k of preventative Maintenance was just performed. Prior to that in 2022, Prevost of Houston replaced all air bags and shock absorbers. They rebuilt all calipers and changed the ball joints and control arms. About $50k has been spent replacing and updating mechanical items on the bus to make sure it can drive from here to Alaska if we wanted to. Like any bus with some age on it, the interior can use some upgrading and has a some signs of wear. There are some pieces of stainless steel on the exterior that have dings and will need repair or replacement if you want it to be perfect. Three AC units are on the roof. You can run one off of the engine alone. The generator functions great. There is an exterior tv that slides out of the bay. The very first bay is all for storage and has two slide out trays.
