The shore power electrical service accommodates up to 50 amp (220 volt) with automatic transfer switch. It works with shore power from 110 volt (15 amp or less via Vicrotron settings). Will also plug into a RV park common 30 amp circuit.
The Victron charge/controller can be controlled via Bluetooth with your phone to optionally set power input limits to match your available shore power. This is very useful if you are mooch docking at someone's home to limit the power draw so as to guarantee not tripping their circuit breaker.
It also automatically integrates power from solar and/or the powerful diesel generator. Any extra input power not being used to run lighting, the dual air conditioners, or microwave is automatically sent to charge the batteries. In addition, an electrical demand over and above the provided power inputs, say from a small shore power connection or from solar, is automatically drawn from the powerful 13,200 watt LFP (1100 Amp hr) house battery. This means you can plug into an 110 volt / 15 amp circuit and still, within reason, be able to run all your appliances.
