1982 Volkswagen Vanagon L! Great restoration! Truly a must see
The Vanagon L by Volkswagen has been restored and ready for a new owner and equipped to go camping or set up at a local RV travel location.
The seller reports the Blueprinted engine is 2.0L air-cooled and 115 hp. Can maintain 75 mph easily. He captured the essence of a sporty van by painting it purple with white trim.
The interior is the original with violet and brown upholstery and vinyl flooring. The windows have window treatments and appeared to cover the windows. There is a diesel heater with a remote under the bench seat.
The wheels have been reported by the seller to be new. The side to side doors operating well. The drive is a stick-shift and not an automatic.
This would be a terrific van for a graduation present for new college grads off for a summer of adventures while trying out the world for new work opportunities. Volkswagen never loses its decades of appeal.
