Our Roadtrek 170 is the ultimate island living RV! When it comes to Maui vacationing, this hard(er) to find 170 is the perfect combination of compact RV exterior for driving through Kahului or Kihei and easily parking on the street, and spacious RV interior for relaxing at mile marker 14 and soaking up the sun/surf of Olowalu in RV comfort.
When it comes to Maui living, the 170 has been an amazing RV home-away-from- home for us; imagine waking up on the beach in a comfortable, queen-sized bed and making your coffee with the ocean just feet away. The exterior shower is awesome for a post-swim in the ocean rinse off, and the bug-screen while the rear doors are open allows the breeze, but not the bugs (not that there are any), to flow and keep us cool whether we’re Upcountry or wherever we find ourselves on the island. Between the stove/microwave, fridge/freezer, toilet, showers and generator, the 170 has been truly an amazing vehicle for comfortably living off the grid everywhere on the island.
The 170 is in excellent mechanical shape; there are some superficial scuffs to the paint, as well as some fading on the roof, but the 170 has never been in an accident, runs perfectly and all the RV components are excellent. We have taken meticulous care of the 170; we’ve never taken an indoor shower, all sand is brushed off before entering and any sand that gets by (as some always does) is immediately swept/vacuumed up, and when we are not on the island, the 170 is stored in an indoor, climate-controlled environment the entire time. Further, though many people have asked (friends and strangers), and despite the huge financial potential, we have never rented or loaned the 170 to anyone. Even better, the 170 is a quick drive to Kahului harbor and just a short boat ride to any one of the islands, so all the islands of Hawai’i could be your affordable vacation playground.
Don't miss out on this fantastic RV opportunity, and save yourself the hassle and 6K+ in shipping costs to bring one from the mainland.
