2009 Pleasure Way Excel TS Motor Home This Motor Home is perfectly kept and perfectly serviced showing virtually no signs of wear. We purchased this Pleasure Way on January 24th 2013 with 13,999 miles. We are the second owners. We have kept all of the service history since we bought it. We’ve done 2 major (fluids and filters) services and all on time oil services including any repairs as needed. When at campgrounds and traveling, we so often get compliments on our Pleasure Way and people are shocked that it’s not new. You will not likely find one in better condition or with better care. We have a home in Key West and in Hershey Pennsylvania. This Motor Home has not seen Pennsylvania winters or the oppressively hot summers of Key West since we’ve owned it. When we are not using it for trips, it is inside our car port in Pennsylvania and under cover in Key West. We use our other vehicles while in Pennsylvania and we ride scooters and bicycles while in Key West. In the last three years we’ve done all of the major RV component upgrades including: September 28th 2021 New Onan "quiet”, fuel injected 2.8KW generator. This new style generator is so quiet it is permitted to be used in National Parks. August 17th 2022 New Dometic Duo-Therm 13.5k Air Conditioner. October 25th 2024 New Dometic 3 way, 3.0 cubic ft Refrigerator. This refrigerator automatically switches to 12v while driving, propane when boondocking and 110v when plugged in. These replacements represent around $10,000 that the next owner will not have to spend. Also on August 14th 2024 (71,339 miles) we put on new Michelin tires and a 4 wheel alignment. It has the economical V10 engine with plenty of reserve power for towing, passing and pulling hills. We consistently get 12.5 miles per gallon. This is the same fuel mileage we got with our previous Pleasure Way with the V8 engine. When boondocking the only thing you will need to run the generator for is the air conditioning. Everything else runs off 12volts or propane. We can comfortably go 3 days without having to dump and refill our tanks, 5 days if you take military showers.
