The SportTrek by Venture Rv is the travel trailer specifically designed for larger families. The unit is quite large and with the three slide-outs you can fit your entire family and probably your neighbors as well. No sacrifices mar this unit either; truly an example of having your cake and eating it too.
Walking into the unit you are struck by the vast open space and well-lit interior. Two of the three slide-outs make up the kitchen-dinette and living area and thus you have all the room in the world, even if you have little kids underfoot. Cooking in the unit is an ease by virtue of the immense counter-space, and intuitive design. The large double basin sink comes with two covers, modularity you will appreciate when you need extra counterspace and a sink simultaneously. There is a three-burner gas stove and oven for with a nearby vent and window to mitigate steam or smoke. The kitchen design is quite cohesive and will not fight you as you prepare meals. The dining table is standard size for an rv, seating four.
Next to that is a couch with an entertainment system. This couch is quite comfortable and great for lounging in. It also folds down to a bed. The aforementioned TV is immense and perches atop a faux fireplace/heater. Connected to the TV is a large speaker system which doubles as a radio and has Bluetooth, Aux, and DVD capabilities. The Jensen stereo is one of their top-of-the-line models, and you can tell. It has numerous adjustments including the ability to tune things like the bass, treble, and midtones of your music.
The next room over is the secondary bedroom, perfect for the kids. The room sleeps four on individual bunks and has an attached closet as well as a mini dresser. One of the bunks also folds into a couch and faces a small TV, allowing the adults and children to watch what suits their individual taste without bothering one-another. The bunks also have individual little lamps, allowing one to read long into the night without disturbing everyone else sleeping.
The master bedroom is at the very front of the unit, featuring an RV queen mattress, cabinet space galore, and a third TV, it provides a secluded place to retire to and prepare for the coming adventures. Outlets are positioned on either side of the bed, making charging your phone or laptop by your bedside a simple operation. Widows adorn the walls on either side of the bed, which completes the rooms ambiance.
The bathroom is situated next to the bedroom and elevates the standard RV bathroom. The shower is large, with adjustable flow shower head and a sliding door. There is a very large linen closet that holds more towels than a Bed Bath and Beyond. The sink and medicine cabinet are fairly standard, though the wood trim on the mirror adds a subtle touch of elegance.
