PRICE REDUCED TO $30,500. Ideal for two people. Only 2 years old- lightly used and low mileage. We are in our late 70’s and really love our basecamp; but are unable to use it much. This has been stored indoors for 1½ years until just recently. Purchased in December, 2017. Hard to find at this price, which is $8,000 below original price. Includes convertible bed, microwave, ventilation and air-conditioning system, solar panel, hot water and cabin heating systems, up-graded axel and aluminum wheels, electric brake system, up-graded refrigerator, indoor and outdoor shower, and other features like pop-up USB and 110 outlets, blackout curtains, and LP, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
Added after purchase: EQ hitch system with heavy-duty sway bars, second extra-capacity Deep Cycle battery, and heavy duty theft protection hitch guard. Two Deep Cycle batteries, a solar roof panel and 22- gal water tank makes this unit very versatile for “dry” camping. You can park it anywhere that you want to, next to a beach or in a national park, for days at a time without the need for campground hook-ups for electricity and water.
Light weight. Towed with Jeep Cherokee 6 cylinder SUV. This unit is so easy to tow that you don’t even know that you have a trailer behind you. Does not include attachable tents; but they can be ordered from Air Stream. The awning that comes with the trailer is too small to provide much shade; so we opted not to pay extra for that and just carried an EZ-Up canopy that we could put up in a few minutes outside the front door.
