$62,500 $58,500 USD
Class A - Gas / Durango, CO

This is a one of a kind unique Axis. Many upgrades including engine, AC, suspension, upholstery. We bought it in 2020 used with 17K miles But before we bought it we needed to see how good it was, So we called Thor to see how many warranty claims the original owners made. Only one for the radio over their 3 years of ownership. Everything worked from the git go and still works. Really important as we have had two new large RV's (40' diesel pusher, 37 gas A )bought back under the lemon law. So we know how much a bad coach can cost in time and money. This has been the best quality coach we have had out of the 6 we have owned and not typical given the low industry standards.

Here are the upgrades: We knew when we bought it that we would have to make it a non white knuckle driving experience. So

- steering stabilizer ($200)

- sumo springs ($2000)

- front and rear stabilizer bars ($1500)

No more being sucked into passing semis or unexpected lane changes. We typically travel at 65-70 mph even in relatively high winds with no problems.

The Ford V10 is a reliable but relatively weak engine with poor up hill pulling power. So we knew that we were going to put a complete Banks Engineering upgrade on it. This upgrade included

- Performance tuned exhaust

- Engine Tuning

- Larger intake manifolds ($4000 total)

It is now a rocket. 75 lbs more of torque and 50 more horsepower. We tow our jeep 4dr Rubicon up mountains with grades of 6% maintaining 65-70 mph to the top. The standard v10 would top out at about 45 mph with major down shifting and engine whine. Not ours. The Banks upgrades also makes it run cooler and add about 2 mpg.

We replaced 8000 btu AC with a 13500 one & new tires this year. Newly reupholstered high grade naugahyde captains chairs and jack knife sofa. Also new upgraded radio/navigation/rear camera.

Sadly, we are exiting the RV world for a while or perhaps for good due to my wife's complex cervical spine surgery. Of all the RV's we had this has been the best for quality and fun. It almost like a sports car rv.

My suspension expert in CA who put in the sway bars loves this model because it is an A class body on a Ford 450 chassis which he thinks gives me the best of both worlds.

NADA average used value is $62115 which does not include all of our upgrades. So this is a deal!!
