Beat the snow! Get in contact soon to purchase this Forest River Georgetown Series 5 GT5 36B5 from us and be on your way to great adventures! We have title-in-hand!
(Click the description text below for more detail.)
We have owned this Forest River Georgetown Series 5 GT5 36B5 since August 2021. We drove it cross-country to our home in Utah after buying it used in Tennessee from the original owner. After that, health issues and some other things have made us unable to take it camping even once, nor will we be able to in the foreseeable future.
Beyond everything the 36B5 comes with standard, we have added an RVLock Keyless Handle (because who wants to carry keys around all the time?), replaced the small standard Pioneer Dash screen with a 13.3 Dasaita Vivid screen with wireless CarPlay/Android Auto and GPS navigation (because who wants to look at a tiny screen while driving?), and added a Roadmaster Nighthawk tow bar system (because we wanted to tow our Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with us). It also has the optional Manual Front Overhead Bunk and optional Washer Dryer Combo installed.
The motorhome is in overall great condition with the only known damage being a small hole in an interior wall. There are a few scuff marks here and there on the outside.
We bought this particular model of RV for its available space. We wanted to have plenty of room to have a remote home office. We wanted to have room to do workouts when on vacation. We wanted to be able to have places to sleep our friends and family who might travel with us.
Check out the photos. They show how open and spacious the 36B5 model is. There are even a few photos with a tape measure showing how wide different portions of the motorhome are when the slides are extended.
Between the king bed in the bedroom with its quick latch pocket door, twin bunk beds, pull down bed, hide-a-bed sofa with footrests, and convertible kitchen table bed, there is room to sleep 8 or 9 people reasonably. Additionally, there is enough floor space for a blow up bed with room to maneuver around.
And you know that having a single bathroom can be difficult with a bunch of people. The 36B5 has two full bathrooms(!) with a one piece fiberglass shower with seat and stainless steel sink in each. The motorhome comes equipped with two 6-gallon gas/electric water heaters. There is even an additional outside shower. The fresh water tank is 82 gallons, grey tanks are 84 gallons, and black tanks are 84 gallons.
The 36B5 comes equipped with two high output 16,000 BTU Quiet Air Command ducted room air conditioning units with Chill Construction and 1 heat pump. It is really nice to have cool air in the master bedroom when the door is closed but also to know the front 2/3 of the coach is independently cooled also!
Heat and other propane facilities come from a 24.5 gallon LP tank.
There are 5 TVs. The bedroom has a 32 LED TV, the bunk beds each have a small TV, the main living area has a 40 LED TV, and there is a TV as part of the outdoor entertainment system.
A power patio awning with LED lights folds out over the entertainment system.
The kitchen area has a nice backsplash and solid surface countertops with a fold-up counter. The 18 cubic foot stainless steel gas/electric Norcold refrigerator can fit a lot of food and drinks! The kitchen also has a stainless steel sink with covers, stainless steel faucet with pull out sprayer, an oven, and a 3-burner cooktop with flush mount glass stove cover. On the first Thanksgiving after purchasing the motorhome, we used the refrigerator to keep some pies cold and the stove and oven to warm up food! It was so nice!
The 36B5 has a Ford V-10 gas engine with 320 HP on an F53 chassis and a 5,000 lbs. tow hitch with 7-way plug. There are dual coach batteries and an electric battery disconnect. There is a power driver's seat, tilt steering wheel, 110 V outlets, various USB plugs, hydraulic 4-point LCI auto leveling jacks, color side and rear cameras with one-way audio on the backup camera, a 5.5kW Onan generator with 291.8 hours on it, power front sun shade, manual cockpit side sun shades, day/night roller shades, passenger side workstation, LED running lights, MyRV touch screen with wireless, a 2,000 watt inverter system, water filtration system, slam latch side hinge baggage doors, lots of storage under the RV (including two bays of pass-through storage) and lots of storage inside, various bunk and accent lights, 50 amp power, built-in rear roof ladder, triple electric entrance step, emergency start switch, quick connect exterior LP fitting, one piece fiberglass roof, bonded front windshield, slideout room awnings, full extension ball bearing drawer guides, and a black water tank flush.
The motorhome has not been in any accidents.
Both water pumps were replaced after driving home from Tennessee. One of the coach batteries and the main engine battery were replaced October 2024.
